Dr. Davis is a native of Durham. Three weeks after he was born, his family moved to the South Pacific island of Guam. Six years after that, he returned to the small mountain town of Sylva, where he spent the remainder of his childhood.
Dr. Davis completed his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he received a BA in biology. He furthered his education with a BS in pharmacy at the University of North Carolina. After practicing pharmacy for six years, Dr. Davis started dental school. He graduated with honors from the UNC School of Dentistry.
He practiced for a year as a general dentist in Durham. Then Dr. Davis completed specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist.
Dr. Davis lives with his lovely wife Boo, son Andrew, and daughter Catherine. He enjoys biking, hiking, fishing, and all outdoor activities. He also loves watching ACC basketball.
